Biokult S.Boulardii 30 caps

Saccharomyces boulardii (S. Boulardii) is a strain of non-pathogenic yeast first discovered by Henry Boulard in 1920. Because S. Boulardii is a yeast microbe, it cannot be killed by antibiotics.

There is a wealth of research data supporting the use of S. Boulardii in gastro intestinal conditions. It has been shown to be effective at combating Candida Albicans, H. Pylori, Clostridium Difficile, and other pathogenic yeast and bacteria strains. The highest quality S. Boulardii preparations are lyophilized (freeze dried) and generally contain 5 billion CFU (colony forming units).

Bio-Kult S.Boulardii:

• Contains 500mg live yeast microorganisms per 2 capsules (5 billion CFU) throughout the shelf life
• Has been cryoprotected during the freeze drying process. This enables the yeast to survive stomach acid and bile and to reach its target organ (most commonly the colon)
• Can be stored at room temperature without the need for refrigeration.
• Also contains vitamin D3 (6 mcg per 2 caps), essential for normal functioning of the immune system.

Bio-Kult S. Boulardii can be used on a continuous basis (up to 6 months) or for a short period of time, e.g. when travelling.

Directions for use:

Take 1-2 capsules per day with food.

Children Under 12: Take ½-1 capsules per day with food.

Pregnancy: Please consult your doctor or healthcare practitioner before taking any food supplement when pregnant. 

During travel: Take 4 capsules daily. Continue to take for at least 1 week following the end of travel. Do not exceed recommended daily intake.

Storage: Keep sealed and store in cool, dry conditions. In high, ambient temperatures (25°C+) air-conditioning or refrigeration would be cautionary to assist in maintaining shelf life. Total bacteria count viable until end of shelf life

Allergen warning: May contain milk from the culture medium. This would be in an amount that should not affect those with dairy intolerance.
